Our Story – A Legacy of Trust and Dedication

Gayathri Rice Mart is a family-run rice wholesale business built on hard work, dedication, and trust. Our journey began in 1980, driven by the determination and values of our father, whose efforts laid the foundation for everything we are today.

Using paddy purchased from our father’s hard-earned salary, our mother Sagarammal began manually processing small quantities of rice by hand in Bodinayakanur. The rice was sold directly on the streets, marking the humble beginning of our family business. As customer trust grew, this small effort gradually expanded—from street-level sales to a small shop, then to establishing a rice mill, and eventually into a well-structured wholesale business.

Today, Gayathri Rice Mart proudly operates three wholesale outlets across Theni and Bodinayakanur, supplying premium quality rice in bulk to retailers, hotels, restaurants, caterers, and distributors. Despite more than 45 years of growth, our core values remain unchanged. We continue to focus on quality sourcing, careful processing, fair pricing, and reliable delivery, carrying forward the principles established by our father.
